The Trainer

As owner/trainer for Campo Speech &Voice Improvement, Angene Campo is a licensed speech-language pathologist, part-time speaker, and amateur vocalist. For 18 years, she has provided individuals and employers with her special brand of "caring expertise" to build powerful communication skills in the workplace.

Angene Campo earned a Masters Degree in Communication Disorders from L.S.U. Medical Center in New Orleans, and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence awarded by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). She has received specialty training in voice therapy through the Voice Foundation and the Pacific Voice Conference, and is a certified trainer for administering Arthur Compton's Pronunciation of English as a Second Language (P-ESL) program. Ms. Campo is an active member of CorSPan, the national Corporate Speech Pathology Network.

As an adjunct faculty member at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Ms. Campo supervised graduate students' training of foreign accent modification and articulation therapy. While in New Orleans, her native town, Angene Campo was featured on WWL Radio's "A Team Approach to Voice Care", partnered with a singing voice teacher and an ENT physician. She created and taught a graduate voice class at Louisiana State University Medical Center entitled "Professional Voice". She also wrote an article published in Health and Home New Orleans entitled "It's Your Voice...Don't Lose It" (May 1993, Vol.II, No.V)
